Riverton Partners custom executive recruiting process includes these core methodologies, process steps, and stage gates:


Initial Consulting:

 

  • Our process begins with thorough Due Diligence with the client on their strategy, organization, culture, challenges, and competitive market to understanding how these factors will impact the recruiting, the position, and the new hire

     

  • We interview the key client stakeholders and capture a 360 Degree View of the team, structure, requirements, expectations, and resources for the position

     

  • From the gathered information, we write a detailed Position Description that describes the client, company, the position, the desired experience, and preferred candidate attributes, as well as the critical factors which make the position compelling

     

  • We craft a custom recruiting strategy that identifies the industry, company, and geographic targets for our research and recruiting efforts

 

Research and Candidate Selection:

  • Our professional research will identify 150 to 250+ individuals that are probable potential candidates and/or credible sources of referrals and recruiting intelligence

  • Our recruiting conversations will generate a working slate of 20 to 30 individuals that align with the position description and demonstrate a sincere interest in the position

  • We utilize in-depth structured interviews, career and personality assessments, written case studies, and comprehensive references to build a final slate of four to six potential candidates with the highest "fit" potential


Candidate Presentation and Interviews:

  • We present the final slate in a formal client meeting, share our complete dossier on each candidate, and deliver a balanced assessment of their strengths and potential

  • We coordinate the client interviews, share interview feedback with the client and candidates, and guide the process to the selection of the finalist candidate 

  • While the interviews progress, we continue our research and recruiting to find additional potential candidates to ensure that the client has additional choices 

Offer, References, and Background Checks:

 

  • We assist and advise the client on the offer structuring, negotiation, and closing, and manage the communication with the finalist candidate

     

  • In concert with the client, we complete formal professional and personal references on the finalist and ensure the client completes the necessary pre-hire checks

 


Transition and Post-Hire Consulting:

 

  • With particular care, we guide the newly hired candidate through their transition process and provide counsel and on-boarding services for the new position and company

     

  • We assist the client and the new hire during the integration and maintain regular contact with both to ensure success during and beyond the guarantee period
